Forsyth Central 6, Hebron Christian 2

Hunter and Tyler Bauman combined for four RBI as the Bulldogs earned a non-region victory Saturday at home.

Parker Morrison got the win for Central (1-1), allowing one runs on one hit while striking out four in four innings.

Hunter went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, while Tyler drove in one run. Robbie Repasz went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.

South Forsyth 11, Valdosta 10

VALDOSTA – Alec Kliphouse went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI as the War Eagles edged the Wildcats for a non-region victory Saturday on the road.

Ben Alexander got the win for South (2-0), allowing one unearned run in two innings of relief.

The War Eagles drew nine walks and had five stolen bases.

Matt Cunningham went 2-for-5 with two RBI, Brett Graczyk was 1-for-2 with a double, stolen base, three walks and two runs scored and Alex Andronica was 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs scored and two walks.

South also got big contributions from Bradley Prince Jr. (1-for-4, 2R), Grant Pearce (1-for-4, RBI), Landon Sims (1-for-2, 2B, RBI) and Max Schmal (0-3, 3R, RBI).


Lambert 11, Blessed Trinity 5

Eric Overbay had three goals and two assists as the Longhorns earned a non-area victory Saturday at home.

Jonny DiVirgilio and Conrad McEvoy each scored two goals for Lambert (2-0), while Matt O’Rourk had two goals and two assists and Alex Walker added three assists.

Trey Arnold won 18 of 19 faceoffs, while Ben Stump had seven saves in goal.
