Forsyth Central at Longhorn Duals

SUWANEE – Caleb Troutt and Hunter Lamm went undefeated and the Bulldogs finished runner-up at the Longhorn Duals at Lanier High School on Saturday.

Troutt went 4-0 at 160 pounds while Lamm was 3-0 at 285 and Central (4-1) defeated Chapel Hill (84-0), Berkmar (57-24), Mill Creek (51-30) and Duluth (72-12).

Seniors Nathan Kistler (138) and Knight Bankston (182) each had strong showings. Sophomore Miles Bankston wrestled up a weight class and overcame a slight shoulder injury to notch a few pins. Freshmen Eli Smith (106) and Kyle Marzullo (152) and sophomore Zach Stokes (132) earned the first varsity wins of their career.

Lambert at Lassiter Invitational

MARIETTA – Robbie Powell and Matthew Sheetz finished second at 138 and 120, respectively, Saturday at the Lassiter Invitational.

Other Longhorns wrestlers to place were Peyton Mitchell (106, fifth) and Cole Burke (145, sixth).

North Forsyth at Alexander Duals

DOUGLASVILLE – The Raiders went 3-2 on Saturday at the Alexander Duals with victories against Hiram (78-6), LaGrange (54-27) and Ola (40-39).

Jacob Nash (132), Keigan Radake (182) and Cole Tenety (106) led North with four wins each.

Chase Tenety (120) had three wins, while Walid Abdullahi (113), Spencer Dooley (126), Justin Lioti (138) and Zachary Smith (220) each had two wins.

South Forsyth at Dunwoody Duals

DUNWOODY – The War Eagles overcame a 33-12 deficit to defeat host Dunwoody 39-36 and finish first at the Dunwoody Duals on Saturday.

South defeated Alpharetta (44-12), Dawson County (46-28) and Mount Vernon (45-21) on the way to the title.

Jackson Baraff (132), Sam Ranta (106) and Creighton Shirley (120) each went 4-0 to lead the War Eagles.

West Forsyth at Lassiter Invitational

MARIETTA – Denver Stonecheck won the individual title at 138 pounds Saturday at the Lassiter Invitational to lead the Wolverines.

Slaton Garner (182) and Hunter Jolly (285) each placed third in their respective weight class, while Jacob Miller (132) placed seventh.
