Records, rankings: Lambert is 8-1, 8-0 in Region 6-AAAAAA and unranked; South is 8-1, 7-1 and unranked.

Last meeting: Lambert won 40-7 in 2014.
What to know: This matchup with count as a de-facto region championship, with the winner taking the No. 1 seed for Region 6 heading into the playoffs. South has just one region title in its history, in 1997, while Lambert, which opened in 2009, is seeking its first league title.
The Longhorns are still recovering from an injury-plagued campaign, but still boast an undefeated record in league play thanks to a by-committee backfield that has been led by sophomore Will Kohlins and junior Dylan Shepherd in recent weeks. Kohlins is coming off a 298-yard rushing effort at Chattahoochee in a contest where the Longhorns ran on 49 of their 54 plays.
More than likely, South needs to win to hold onto one of the two home-game seeds in the playoffs. A loss and a West Forsyth win against Johns Creek would drop the War Eagles to third place and force them into a road contest against either Mill Creek or Peachtree Ridge.
