The South Forsyth cheerleading program is proud to announce that all four of its senior cheerleaders were selected as members of the Georgia All- State Cheerleading Squad.

Kennedy Chambers, Taylor Giller, Madison Lively and Macy Sarver competed at Columbus State University on Aug. 10 against 40 finalists from throughout the state at the GCCA Cheerleader of the Year competition.

Members were selected based on a highly competitive format including an application, interview and performance. The all-state squad will be presented at the Georgia State Cheerleading Championships in Columbus on Nov. 16, 2013. The Cheerleader of the Year will also be announced at that event and will receive a scholarship.

"We are so proud of our South cheerleaders," South cheerleading coach Shayla Brawner said. "It is an honor to have four of the 16 members of the Georgia All-State Cheerleading Squad come from our school."
