ALPHARETTA AT WEST FORSYTH

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at The Den in Cumming.

Records, rankings: Alpharetta is 1-2 and unranked in Class 6A; West Forsyth is 2-1 and unranked in Class 6A.

Series history: West Forsyth leads 2-1.

Last meeting: West Forsyth won 63-42 in 2012.

What to know: This game could come down to the final minutes. West had to score late in the fourth quarter to avoid an upset loss at Starr’s Mill last week, while Alpharetta fell to Lovejoy by one point. The Wolverines turned the ball over four times, but still came away with the victory.

Alpharetta’s defense has allowed an average of 20.6 points per game, so West’s offense should have quality opportunities. Quarterback Hampton McConnell had 131 passing yards and ran for 110 more last week, while running back Trevor O’Brien tacked on two touchdowns on 107 rushing yards.
