Andrew Marshall, West Forsyth

Position: Center

Height, weight: 6-foot-5, 270 pounds

2012 season: Marshall was a first-team all-county and all-region 6-AAAAAA selection on a West team that went 10-2 and scored the most points in county history. Marshall has over 10 scholarship offers and is the No. 12-ranked center prospect in the country, according to 247Sports.

Favorite football moment: "The Hillgrove playoff win, but then right behind that would be the first playoff win against Etowah here [in 2011]. It was the second time we played them. Played them at home. That was a good one. It was our first ever home game as a playoff game. We played Etowah twice that year and no one thought we’d beat them a second time. That was fun."

Most embarrassing football moment: "Every game, we have the X-Men [student section] and they throw baby powder before the game. At Cherokee, the sideline was right there. They threw it and it got all in my helmet and all in my mouthpiece, and I didn’t know it. I went out there the first play, made the call and it went everywhere. It was disgusting. It was all in my mouth. Thank goodness we scored on the fourth play so I could wash it out."
