In honor of Veterans Day, Nov. 11, Music Authority is putting together giftboxes for the Any Soldier program through Nov. 20.  Each giftbox will contain a handwritten card from students, staff and volunteers to send good wishes and cheer up soldiers overseas along with the gift items.  

For Forsyth County residents and the surrounding areas that would like to donate items for giftboxes they can be dropped off  at Music Authority, 123 Merchants Square in Cumming or curbside pickup at the store can be arranged by calling (770) 886-9066. 

Music Authority students, staff and parent volunteer group, The Music Authority Roadies, will be assembling the kits and making cards. If you are looking for a family or fun activity to participate in, please contact us for an assembly time and date. Appropriate CDC guidelines will be followed, and masks are mandatory for participants. 

Requested items include: deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, feminine hygiene, combs, brushes, lotion, sanitary pads, shaving cream, razors, chapstick, nail clippers, pens, pencils, writing paper and journals.
