“Our mission is to put people to work [and] we do this through a variety of job training programs and employment services,” said Goodwill’s Vice President of Marketing Elaine Armstrong. “This store will allow us to create 50 new, full-time jobs where they previously did not exist. This year, our goal is to help 24,000 people find jobs.”

The organization currently operates 60 stores and 58 attended donation centers, and while the nonprofit currently has donation centers in the county, this will be Forsyth’s only store since the 2015 closing of a previous store in nearby Merchants Square Shopping Center.

At the new store, shoppers will find reduced-price clothing, books and other household items. Donors will also have access to a drive-up donation center.
