Prudential Georgia Realty-400 North has changed ownership.

All Prudential Georgia sites were recently purchased by Warren Buffet and have transitioned into Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held earlier this month at the local site, 925 Sanders Road, to officially welcome the change.

According to information from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, the purchase was finalized this spring.

The acquisition represents an expansion of HomeServices’ footprint in the Atlanta market along with Harry Norman Realtors, which was acquired in 2006.

With this transaction, HomeServices has 28 brands and more than 17,000 real estate professionals operating in 21 states.

Ron Peltier, chairman and CEO of HomeServices, said in a statement that Prudential Georgia Realty is “among the leading real estate companies in the U.S. and closely aligns with our corporate vision and our customer value and results.”
