Mobile career coach coming to two Forsyth libraries

NORTH FORSYTH — The Georgia Mountains Mobile Career Coach will be visiting two locations in Forsyth County this month.

The career coach will be at the Hampton Park Library, 5345 Settingdown Road in north Forsyth, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Feb. 12.

It will visit the Cumming Library, 585 Dahlonega Road, during those same hours on Feb. 17.

According to a news release from Georgia Mountains Workforce Development, the unit will be available at each stop to assist residents with searching and/or applying for jobs online.

They can also get help writing a resume and/or cover letter and determining career interests.

In addition, visitors can learn about tuition assistance and on-the-job training programs.

The work force development agency is operated by Georgia Mountains Regional Commission.

Those seeking assistance through the mobile career coach must be a resident of the commission’s service area — 13 counties including Forsyth, Dawson and Hall — or be currently or formerly employed by a company whose business is located there.
