Confederate Railroad

The second headlining act for the Cumming Country Fair and Festival has been announced.

Confederate Railroad will rock the main stage of the Cumming Fairgrounds on Tuesday, Oct. 9, city officials announced on Thursday afternoon. As with all concerts at the fair, the show is free with general admission to the fair.

The Southern Rock band originated in Marietta and is known for their songs “Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind,” “Trashy Women” and “Queen of Memphis.”

Earlier this week, Trace Adkins was announced as the headline act for Thursday, Oct. 11. He will be stopping by as part of the How Did We Get Here Tour.

This year’s fair will be held Oct. 4-14 at the Cumming Fairgrounds, 235 Castleberry Road. Other festivities at the fair will include the Miss Cumming Fair Pageant, a senior citizens day, student night and two nights of the American Bull Riders Tour.
