One of the city of Cumming’s newest signature community events is ready to return.

Fridays at the Fairgrounds, a monthly community gathering at the Cumming Fairgrounds featuring food trucks, live music, carnival activities and vendors, is set to begin for the second year on Friday, April 19, according to an announcement on the Fairgrounds’ Facebook page.

This year’s edition will go from 5-10 p.m. and feature the following food vendors:

● The Loaded Burger

● Cousins Maine Lobster

● Five Finger Philly

● The Deep South Biscuit Co.

● Babakabab

● Just Wing’N

● Big C’s Chicago Kitchen

● Tacos & Tequilas Mexican Grill

● King of Pops

● Kona Ice of North Atlanta

Like last year, Fridays at the Fairgrounds will take place on every third Friday of the month. Last year’s inaugural event drew upwards of 5,000 people, according to Mayor Troy Brumbalow, and included a burnout competition.
