CUMMING — The state Department of Driver Services is reminding residents that all of its customer service centers will be closed from Saturday through Tuesday in observance of the Labor Day holiday weekend. That includes the center at 400 Aquatic Circle in Cumming.

In a news release, the department noted that all centers will resume normal operations on Wednesday.

As a result, though, officials expect heavier traffic at all locations during the week, so visitors are asked to plan accordingly.

Many services can be completed online, and customers are directed to visit www.dds.ga.gov for a complete list of what’s available. 

For those who must visit in person, an online feature enables paperwork to be completed and sent to the department ahead of time.
