On Wednesday morning, Whitlow Elementary School students arrived at school to find that administrators had been transformed into Christmas elves and their schoolyard had become a winter wonderland.
Throughout the morning costumed administrators carrying “Let it snow” signs waved from the school’s roof as school busses arrived, while a snow machine showered students with flakes.
“At Whitlow, our vision is ‘make learning come alive,’” said Lynne Castleberry, principal of Whitlow Elementary. “Our students work so hard each day, we wanted to give them a fun and magical welcome before they leave for winter break.”
