Lambert and South Forsyth high schools are rivals in virtually everything they do, but the neighbors recently came together to serve the many local assisted living communities in the area.

On Saturday, Nov. 16, the schools hosted the first-ever “Friendsgiving” event at South for more than 80 seniors.

Various programs from both schools pitched in to provide the seniors with a meal and entertainment.

Lambert’s student ambassadors welcomed guests. South Forsyth’s culinary students prepared lunch. Then seniors enjoyed acts by more than 10 performing arts groups from both schools, from singers to an improv troupe.
