No injuries were reported in connection with a blaze on a north Forsyth farm early Wednesday.

Forsyth County Fire Capt. Jason Shivers said firefighters arrived about 6:40 a.m. to find an empty chicken house destroyed off Jot Em Down Road.

He said the building had been burning for some time before anyone noticed.

Shivers said the owner had turned heaters on in the building Tuesday in preparation for housing chickens there sometime this week.

It has not been determined what started the blaze.
