A Cumming man is $300,000 richer after winning a Georgia Lottery game.
Marc Shirley claimed his prize Monday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta, according to lottery officials.
He won the second prize amount in the game Taxes Paid, which awards prizes up to $3 million with the taxes paid.
Shirley bought his winning ticket at the Silver City Citgo on Hwy. 9 in Dawsonville, according to the lottery.
Georgia Lottery profits go to educational programs such as the HOPE Scholarship and pre-kindergarten.
