NORTH FORSYTH — A Sawnee EMC truck hauling a flatbed trailer with tract excavation equipment rolled onto its passenger side about 1:30 p.m. Friday after leaving Keith Bridge Road in front of the Humane Society of Forsyth County.

It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, which disrupted traffic along the road, also known as Hwy. 306, for some time in north Forsyth.

According to Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers, the truck was traveling south when it slipped down a steep embankment.

The driver and passenger, both of whom were Sawnee employees, were able to escape the wreckage uninjured. Neither man was on the job at the time. All three of the vehicles sustained damage.
