A line of strong storms that moved through late Monday afternoon brought more than just a good soaking.

Firefighters were kept busy responding to calls of trees down on power lines, lightning strikes, and transformer fires, while deputies spent the time directing traffic around downed trees.  

There was a chance for more of the same this afternoon, and the National Weather Service forecast also called for the possibility of showers on Wednesday and Thursday.
