'Thanks' not enough for emergency help

Forsyth County News

On Mother’s Day, May 10, 2009, I became seriously ill with a life threatening condition. Around 7 p.m. my son called 911 and in what seemed like only seconds an ambulance was at my house and rushed me to Northside Hospital-Forsyth.

The emergency room doctors and nurses went to work at once to save my life. I was told that the ER nurse never left my side until I was stabilized and moved to the intensive care floor. I wish I knew her name so I could thank her in person.

My son was in the room almost all the time and he knows how hard everyone worked to save me.

“Thank you” is not enough for what you did for me. My family and I will never stop praising the quick action of the Northside Forsyth ER staff and the Forsyth County EMTs.
