We are so fortunate here in Forsyth County to have the best fire and police protection in the entire state of Georgia.

Chief Danny Bowman was just awarded the Fire Chief of the Year award by the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs and just last year Sheriff Ted Paxton was awarded the Police Chief of the Year award by his peers.

We are just blessed to have these two fine individuals in charge of our fire and sheriff’s departments.

The American Legion appreciates the great job that the chief and sheriff do protecting us and our families. We salute you for your efforts.
