Concering the recent bailout, I get the feeling that the people in Congress have overthrown the government of the USA and are doing whatever they want despite what the people want or what the Constitution dictates.
Nowhere in the Constitution does it give government the right to control the money supply or lending rates. Nowhere does it give the Congress the right to say who gets a free handout or who gets a home they cannot afford by means of a government handout.
Nowhere does it say that Congress has the right to take money from one person and give it to another. Congress needs to do what it is supposed to do, that is, secure our borders and protect property rights.
The Constitution guarantees our inalienable rights, not handouts and entitlements. The elected officials who have betrayed us need to be removed from office. Their replacements must be told to follow the Bill of Rights and the Constitution and stop the takeover of our government.
