No logical reason not to disclose ownership

Forsyth County News

In a 3-2 vote, Forsyth County’s Board of Commissioners voted down a proposal requiring entities applying for rezoning and variances to fully disclose who they are.

I see no logical reason that this proposal was not passed.

Brian, Pete, and Cindy your credibility has taken a major hit due to your vote.

Todd, and Jim thank you for voting the right way on this issue.

How can the voters determine if a conflict of interest exists if we do not know who owns the companies requesting approval for rezoning and variances?

This is a perfect example of why the vast majority of citizens do not trust many of our elected officials.
