A popular speaker will return next week for a Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce event.

On Tuesday, leaders of the organization will welcome Frank Norton Jr. for the 2012 Economic Outlook Breakfast.

Norton, president of the Gainesville-based Norton Agency real estate and insurance firm, is an expert in the north Georgia area.

Each year, he authors Native Intelligence, an economic forecast that provides data on a range of topics, including housing and job markets.

Lindsey Nelson, the chamber’s director of communications and events, said Tuesday’s breakfast will focus on information from this year’s forecast.

"It will include what to expect in 2012, and what changes we have seen in 2011," she said.

Nelson said Norton’s presentations are always popular.

"Frank is one of the most trusted professionals in the north Georgia region when it comes to predictions on the economic climate of communities," she said.

"He draws an outstanding crowd due to his spot-on forecasts and observations of how the north Georgia region is doing economically."

The breakfast presentation begins at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center.

Nelson said about 150 people are expected to attend.

"This is always a sell-out event," she said.

Those interested can register online or by phone.

Nelson said the R.S.V.P. deadline is Friday, and cost to attend is $20 for chamber members and $30 for non-members.
