Forsyth County recently launched a new Web site that provides a variety of planning-related information.

"We are excited about this," said Jeff Chance, the county's director of planning and development. "[It] is a great tool for citizens to use to help them stay informed about requests and proposed changes in the community."

The Web site, which can be viewed at estatus.forsythco.com, features information on existing and archived rezonings, conditional use and home occupation permits and sketch plat applications.

An application number is needed to view the documents.

A number can be found on legal advertisement notices in the Forsyth County News, letters to adjacent property owners and meeting agendas, as well as public notice signs.
