GAINESVILLE — An armed man told everyone in a Gainesville Dollar General on Thursday night to get on the ground and demanded cash from the cashier, police said.
Gainesville police are seeking information on the robbery, which occurred about 8 p.m. at the store on Browns Bridge Road.
A man wearing all black and a face covering “entered the store armed with a handgun, demanded everyone to the ground and cash from the cashier,” according to police.
“The suspect fled the scene on foot,” Sgt. Kevin Holbrook wrote in a news release. “There were no injuries reported during the robbery.”
