Crime prevention seminar Wednesday

There are still several slots remaining in an educational seminar presented by Cumming police.

From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the city’s Castleberry Building, the department will present the Refuse to be a Victim Crime Prevention Seminar.

The free seminar, which was developed by the National Rifle Association, focuses on how to avoid dangerous situations and prevent criminal activity and confrontations.

Among the topics are individual self-defense strategies, as well identity and home protection.
