Two Lambert High School students have been arrested by local law enforcement officers for allegedly attacking another student at the school early last week.

Lambert seniors, Landis Antonio Lee and Eusebio Martez Preston, 17, of Suwanee were arrested on Monday and charged with felony aggravated battery following an investigation into an assault that allegedly took place at the school on Nov. 13.

According to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on Nov. 13 at about 9 a.m., Lee and Preston allegedly attacked an older student in a basketball locker room. Their alleged victim was struck in the face, sustaining serious facial injuries and was later transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

The report states that Lee and Preston were interviewed by school administration, released to their parents, and since have not returned to school.

Forsyth County Schools Director of Communication Jennifer Caracciolo stated that both students have received appropriate punishments for the incident but declined to comment on other aspects of the incident, citing legal requirements.

School and law enforcement officials would not comment on the health of the victim.

Lee and Preston have each been charged with one felony count of aggravated battery.

Preston was released from custody on a bond of $33,130. As of press time, Lee was still in being held in the Forsyth County Jail under a similar bond.
