SOUTH FORSYTH — The South Forsyth High School War Eagle Band will hold its annual March-A-Thon fundraiser Saturday morning.

“The event is always important for our program since it is one of our biggest fundraiser of the year,” said band booster parent Mike Deal.

Students will begin their trek from the high school at 10 a.m. and head to Starbucks in the Brannon’s Crossing shopping center on Peachtree Parkway.

The band will perform there at 10:30 a.m. before heading to Cici’s Pizza on Ronald Reagan Boulevard for an 11:15 a.m. performance.

The young musicians will also make a stop at Norman’s Landing Restaurant on Peachtree Parkway at 12:05 p.m., before heading across the street to The Collection outdoor mall at 1 p.m.

They will then return to the high school for a final show at 1:45 p.m.

Deal said band booster parents will be collecting donations all along the band’s route and at all the stops.

Those who can’t attend but would like to donate to the band program can do so at http://sfhsbands.org/.
