The rain today has postponed the traffic shift on the Hwy. 53 bridge replacement project. Crews will continue to evaluate the weather and reschedule the shift. Construction partners with Georgia DOT will shift traffic over to the new bridge and approaches once weather permits and close access to the former lanes of the green truss bridge.
