NORTH FORSYTH - Officials say six people were hospitalized following an overnight wreck on Bannister Road in northern Forsyth County.  

Division Chief Jason Shivers said that four of the patients were in critical condition, and that two had less serious injuries.  

The wreck involved two vehicles, a passenger car and a pickup truck.  Shivers noted that the pickup truck driver was not injured, and that all six of the injured people were in the passenger car.  

Shivers said that a total of four ambulances were called in, three from Forsyth County, and one using a mutual aid agreement from Dawson County.  

As one of the ambulances was leaving that area, they came upon a fatal wreck involving a motorcycle, also on Bannister Road.  (story here)
