United Way holding mailbox food drive May 12, 13

United Way of Forsyth County is partnering with the Cumming Post Office and the National Association of Letter Carriers for the 25th annual NALC National Food Drive to “Stamp Out the Hunger.”

Residents who live in zip codes 30028, 30040 or 30041 can place a bag of non-perishable food items at their mailbox on Friday, May 12 or Saturday, May 13, and their local letter carrier will collect it as they deliver mail along their usual postal routes.

Donations will be distributed to local food pantries and programs that serve the Cumming and Forsyth County community.
