The citizens of Forsyth County and the surrounding area are truly blessed to have such first-class, superior medical facilities as those at Northside Hospital-Forsyth.

I have been there a few times over the years for testing or out-patient treatments, but never for a major medical issue. I recently went in for major back surgery that required a five-day stay.

All of us usually have the opportunity to pick our doctors, but once you enter the hospital you are under the care of a whole lot of folks that you have no control over.

In my five-day period, I can say that every nurse was top notch, all the technicians were marvelous, the housekeeping and food services were great, and even the administrative details of getting in and getting out were very efficiently taken care of.

In summary, what a wonderful facility and especially what wonderful people taking care of you from the moment of entry until they wheel you out to go home. 

I wish everyone good health and, hopefully, few readers will need these services. But if you do, you are blessed to have Northside Hospital-Forsyth close by.
