The skateboard park is a great venue.
Warning signs defaced, graffiti and a bunch of teenagers (though very courteous) smoking and doing extreme stunts with no helmets. Very bad example for younger kids.
The sheriff's deputies are lax and no enforcement of the rules. When did they issue a citation here? Never?
Why are they allowing this dangerous behavior?
Does the county not have some liability if they allow rules to deteriorate without oversight?
Does the county have statistics on the number of serious injuries at this park?
Why not protect and minimize severe injuries by routine observance and warnings?
Very poor reflection on Forsyth a County, the sheriff's department and the park staff.
Sincerely,
Tom Hill
