Letter to the editor
Make no mistake, its Obamas plan

Forsyth County News
I wish to say a few words about Mr. Price’s Aug. 16 rebuttal to my letter regarding the changes that are being proposed to our health care system.

Mr. Price stated that the health care reform bill is not Obama’s bill. Mr. Obama campaigned on health care reform and he is currently traversing the country trying to gather support for the bill. In fact he did not want Congress to read the bill before passing it. Mr. Obama’s fingerprints are all over this bill. By association, it is Mr. Obama’s bill.

Now I understand why Mr. Price could not find the topics on the page numbers I referenced.

After reading Mr. Price’s letter, I pulled up the bill on my computer, and found that different viewing preferences and font sizes affect page numbers. I apologize to Mr. Price, and others who searched the page numbers and did not find the topics.

But, that slip on my part does not mean the topics do not exist. Every topic I listed exists in the bill. I also “encourage each citizen of this nation to go to the source and read for themselves” the words of the bill. Because if you do, you will find more frightening changes being proposed that I did not mention.

Also, Mr. Price referred to me as one of the “Republican agitators.” Mr. Price doesn’t know me. If he did, he would know that I am not a Republican.

I am not a party follower. I vote for the individual I feel is the best person to lead our community, our state or our nation.

Finally, Mr. Price acknowledged that he is a fellow Christian. For that I am well pleased.

He referenced the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:25-32,5:2. In these verses, Paul was admonishing the Ephesian Christians for lying. This implies that Mr. Price thinks I lied. I want Mr. Price and all readers of this letter to know, Ron Young is not a liar. The facts I reported are true and are documented in the bill.

Mr. Obama campaigned on change. The health reform changes that are currently being proposed, in the opinion of Ron Young, will be harmful to the Forsyth County community, the state of Georgia and the great nation we live in.
