Letter to the editor
Criticism of Beck was all wrong

Forsyth County News
I appreciate that you are trying to provide the readers with a variety of opinions, but please do a little homework before you print a ridiculous article by a so-called conservative like Rod Dreher, Dallas News.

Stacy McCain, a former editor with the Washington Times said this about Dreher: “You’re always ranting against any conservative who is actually popular with Republicans. Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, Mark Levin, etc. ... you’re like the geek at the dance complaining that the prom queen and the quarterback are so popular.”

You have no idea how Americans identify with Glenn Beck and his fight to expose corruption in our government. Allowing a hit piece like this in your newspaper screams for an apology to all your readers. By the way, The “5000 Year Leap” is an incredible book about the founding of our country.

It’s a must read.

Please do due diligence before you let a hack like Dreher have space in our newspaper. I’ll be shocked if you aren’t deluged with criticism about this poor decision.
