Airlines will destroy air travel with fees

Forsyth County News
Fuel surcharge. Checked baggage. Carry-on next?

The airline industry is killing itself off with add-on fees. If a family of four has to pay $35 per checked bag, both ways, and perhaps another $45 per carry-on (overhead compartment size) they have wracked up over $600 just for baggage. That buys a lot of meals, motels, and souveniers.

Looks like more folks will be opting for short drive vacations or stay at home diversions. If the airlines fold, it’s due to excessive greed and I personally won’t shed a tear. Write your congressman, the FAA, and anyone else you can think of to protest this insanity. Oh, cancel that Delta AmEx card too.
