Our son, Carey Abee was killed in an accident on Hwy. 20 on Nov. 3. We would like to thank each person who helped to remove the box truck from his body.

We read the blogger’s comment that scooters should not be allowed on public roads. The scooter was capable of going 50 miles per hour, and during these economic times, some people cannot afford cars and the upkeep of them. Carey was on his way to work when the accident happened.

According to police records and witnesses, Carey was in no way responsible for the accident. Carey will be greatly missed by family and friends. Our heart also goes out to the person responsible for the accident.
