It is 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday and one of the Sawnee Electric Membership Corp. crews is working on our street to ensure the completion of restoring power in our neighborhood. This in addition to another crew getting some of us "up and running" during the wee hours of last night.

We personally want to thank each and every one of Sawnee's dedicated workers for their tireless efforts and dedication to repairing the damage this ice storm inflicted on our community.

We all take for granted the service Sawnee provides us 24/7 until something like this happens and then we realize how very important they are to our comfort and well-being.

We want all of the Sawnee work crews to know how very much we appreciate them and their personal sacrifices to restore heat and comfort to us all.
