Lambert at Harrison

When, where: Friday, 7:30 p.m., at Harrison High School in Kennesaw.

Records, seedings: Lambert is 12-4 and the No. 3 seed from Area 3; Harrison is 13-1 and the No. 1 seed from Area 1.

What to know: Lambert is coming off a convincing victory over North Gwinnett in which 11 different players found the score sheet. The Longhorns have won five straight and nine of their last 10, and in the process have firmly established themselves as one of the state’s most dangerous teams. Harrison, who is currently riding a seven-game winning streak, is certainly in that elite class, as well. The Hoyas have allowed double digit goals against just twice all year—once in the season opener (an 11-10 OT victory over Etowah), and once to Centennial (a 17-14 loss, their lone defeat in 2014). They took down Lassiter in the opening round of the state tournament, 12-8.

What’s next: The winner plays the winner of Johns Creek-Milton.
