North Forsyth senior Mallorie Black was selected by the Georgia Coaches Association as the top softball player in Class 7A.
Black was named the organization's player of the year, while North Forsyth teammates junior Ashleigh Grace and junior McKayla Cothran earned first-team all-state nods.
South Forsyth junior Makenna Segal was named second-team all-state by the organization.
Black, a Georgia Tech commit, hit .519 for the Raiders this season, reaching base 58 percent of her at-bats while leading the team with 10 home runs, 63 RBIs and 21 walks. Grace was a menace on the basepaths, swiping 30 bases while batting .521. Cothran, a Samford commit, tied Grace for the team lead in stolen bases (30) and finished with a .478 batting average.
Segal posted a .585 batting average for the War Eagles, slugging seven home runs and walking 43 times, which led to a 1.710 on-base percentage.
