Conrad McEvoy had five goals as the Longhorns cruised to an Area 3-AAAAAA victory Tuesday at home.
Matt O’Rourk and Eric Overbay each added two goals for Lambert (1-0), while Trey Arnold won 18 of 21 faceoffs and added a goal.
Brady Berman had six groundballs and goalie Ben Stump made three saves.
South Forsyth 17, North Broward 2
Kyle Fredriksen had four goals and an assist as the War Eagles cruised to a non-area victory Monday.
Brock McMichael added four goals for South (1-0), while the War Eagles also got multiple goals from Dawson Draper (three goals, three assists), Drew Thomson (two goals, two assists) and Andrew Lempner (two goals, one assist).
Mikael Datta and Kevin Kemner each scored a goal.
Forsyth Central 3, West Forsyth 0
Freshman Callie Fagan had a hat-trick as the Lady Bulldogs rolled to a non-region victory Tuesday night on the road.
Jenna Uldrich and Fagan’s older sister, Abbey, had assists for Central (1-1).
“Our defense and keepers played great in the shutout,” Lady Bulldogs head coach Angela Camp said.
South Forsyth 1, Peachtree Ridge 0
Jenna Vollrath had the lone goal to give the Lady War Eagles a non-region victory Tuesday at home.
Reagan Smith assisted on the goal for South (2-0), while keepers Mckenna Galioto and Courtney O’Malley shared the team’s second shutout of the season.
Forsyth Central 2, West Forsyth 1
Ale Romero scored for the Bulldogs who prevailed on penalty kicks Tuesday for a non-region victory Tuesday.
Romero’s younger brother, Uriel, assisted on the goal for Central (1-1).
“That was a big win for our program,” Bulldogs head coach Will Gifford said, as Central lost 6-0 to West last season.
