You'll need nerves of steel to take on these seriously freaky attractions filled with jump scares, paranormal activity. And, if you jump out of your skin and yelp out an "eek!," we won't blame you.
House of Four Scythes Haunted Attraction


There is no escaping the Reaper's blade, as the gaze of the Specter of Death comes from all four directions.
Check out House of Four Scythes, Forsyth County's very own haunted attraction, to see if you can escape the spooky mansion without screaming. Spoiler alert: you'll scream a lot.
For the first time, House of Four Scythes is an attraction at the Cumming Country Fair & Festival and will be open each night that the fair is open. The last two weekends of October will feature two additional attractions filled with cotton candy, clowns, confusion and...chainsaws?
Proceeds from House of Four Scythes go to the American Cancer Society. This attraction is recommended for children 12 years or older.
Price: $15 during the fair, $25 the last two weekend of October
When: Oct. 7-17, Oct. 22-23, Oct. 29-20. Mon-Thurs: 7-10 p.m., Fri-Sat: 7 p.m. to midnight, Sun: 6-9 p.m.

Haunted Lake Lanier boat charter


As the sun sets on beautiful Lake Lanier, the spirits lying beneath the water begin to stir and wake. Explore one of the lake's islands investigating with Bart Glabman, founder and paranormal investigator of Bi-City Paranormal Research, to see if any of the past energies still lurk beneath the waves.
This tour is hosted by Lanier Boat Charter and will be a 45-minute trip on a decorated 40 passenger party boat. Snacks and drinks will be provided along with box dinners from Pig Tales, which must be preordered while booking a ticket. Masks are recommended but not required.
This event is only for those 14 years or older.

Roswell Ghost Tour


Catch a glimpse of a specter or hear the secrets of exiled mill workers as they let out toilsome moans through the historic district of Roswell.
An experienced guide will lead you and your friends and family on a 2 and a half hour tour through Roswell, stopping at Founders Cemetery, the burial site of the founder of the town, Roswell King, and Grand Greek revival mansions. Each guide is an experienced paranormal investigators who promise to "thrill, educate and enlighten."
Price: $20 per adult, $10 per child 12 years and younger, cash only. This does not include gratuities for your guide.

Trail of Terror


Try to escape the maze of decapitated corpses and deranged clowns running rampant through the woods.
The Trail of Terror offers "horrifying backwoods' realism at its scariest." Are you willing to be pushed to the limits of your fear tolerance? Come test your strength if you dare. Kee Kee the clown will be waiting with all his friends.
This attraction is recommended for ages 13 and older, unless accompanied by an adult. The trail is not recommended for those that have trouble walking long distances on rugged terrain, those with respiratory problems, epilepsy or heart conditions. The attraction can include sudden noises, fog, strobe lights and jarring actions.
Price: $25 per person for general admission, $50 per person for fast pass

Lawrenceville Ghost Tours

Netherworld Haunted House
