Ugly Christmas Sweater Bar Crawl

Don we now our ugliest Christmas sweaters to head over to Halcyon for the third annual ugly Christmas sweater bar crawl. The Grinch will be making a (reluctant) appearance for photo opportunities and assorted shenanigans, and he will be selecting winners for the ugly Christmas sweater contest. Each winner will receive a $50 gift card from one of Halcyon's restaurants. 

This event is a fundraiser for Bottleshare, a nonprofit that grants emergency funds to members of the craft beverage industry when they experience extreme hardships that prevent them from working or producing an income. 

Price: $10 per ticket. Ticket prices do not include cocktails. 

When: 6-10 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 16

Where: Halcyon, 6365 Halcyon Way, Alpharetta

HOBNOB's Holiday Party

You don't want to miss HOBNOB's holiday party complete with a live DJ on the roof and a live band downstairs. There will be an ugly Christmas sweater contest with $500 in prizes, and Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be available for a photoshoot with you and your friends. 

This event is limited to 200 VIPs, so pre-registration is required to reserve a table.

When: 8-11 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18

Santa at Kids Club

The kids will be out of school soon, so Halcyon has planned a special holiday edition of Kids Club. Your child will be able to enjoy photos and visits with Santa, crafts and many Christmas surprises. There might even be some snow out on the Green. 

When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 22

Santa Paws at the Vetted Pet

Take your pup to see Santa and grab some hot chocolate, apple cider, free snacks and dog treats. Coupons will also be available, and guests can enter a raffle for a basket full of fun items for your pet with a $450 value.

Price: $10 for photos. All funds will go to help stray animals. 

When: 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Dec. 16 and Friday, Dec. 17

Where: The Vetted Pet, located next to Crestview Animal Hospital, 307 Pilgrim Mill Road, Cumming.

Southern Grace at Freedom Brew & Shine

Swing by Freedom Brew & Shine for some amazing southern cuisine. Southern Grace will be on site servin' up lobster rolls, southern boy po'boys, wings, hotdogs and more.

Around the World Holiday Passport

The holiday season is a fun time to learn about countries and cultures from around the world. At the Cumming Library, you and your children will be able to learn about different cultures and how they celebrate through books, crafts, food and other activities. 

Each child will be able to receive a passport at the Ask Us desk. After completing an activity at each country and collecting stickers, head back over to the Ask Us desk to collect your prize. 

When: All day, Monday, Dec. 20
