Here's how residents can give input on 3 upcoming park projects in Forsyth County

In the coming weeks, local residents will have a chance to give their thoughts on three upcoming Forsyth County Parks and Recreation projects, including one yet-to-be-built park.

Here’s when the meetings are scheduled:

Denmark Park Community Input Meeting

What: A drop-in style meeting where visitors can view facility and amenity ideas for a new park planned on Mullinax Road near Denmark High School.

When: Thursday, Jan. 23, 4-7 p.m.

Where: Midway Park Community Building, 5100 Post Road.

Funding: The master plan design is being funded by SPLOST VIII and impact fees.

Bennett Park Community Input Meeting

What: Officials will give a presentation on the park’s master plan update, and attendees will have a chance to give input.

When: Wednesday, Jan. 29, starting at 6 p.m.

Where: Coal Mountain Park Community Building, 3560 Settingdown Road.

Funding: The master plan is being funded by SPLOST VIII.

Sharon Springs Park Community Input Meeting

What: Attendees can give input on Sharon Spring Park’s master plan during a drop-in meeting.

When: Wednesday, Feb. 12, 4-7 p.m.

Where: Sharon Springs Park Community Building, 1950 Sharon Road.

Funding: The master plan is being funded by SPLOST VIII.
