A bicyclist was rushed to the hospital with traumatic injuries on Saturday afternoon after being stuck by a vehicle near the Greenway in south Forsyth County, authorities say.
According to Cpl. Doug Rainwater of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the bicyclist was struck while crossing over Union Hill Road on the Big Creek Greenway.
On Tuesday afternoon, Rainwater said that the bicyclist is in stable condition at a local hospital, and the cause of the wreck is under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Specialist Unit.
Rainwater said that detectives are currently looking for any witnesses of the incident.
