Winners of the annual Best of Forsyth contest can celebrate their victories on Wednesday as the official announcement will be made in the 2018 Best of Forsyth magazine — included in the print edition of Wednesday’s Forsyth County News.

A banquet will follow the announcements Wednesday at the Forsyth Conference Center – Lanier Technical College. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m.

Only winners may attend the gathering. Forsyth County residents voted in 2017 for businesses, organizations and beyond in more than 200 categories like best business, school, workplace, restaurant and more.

The contest has grown each year, with even more participation for the 2018 event. Winners will be named and honored at the event, which is expected to draw nearly 500 people to the celebration.

“We at the Forsyth County News feel honored to be able to bring this event to you,” said Forsyth County News Publisher Stephanie Woody. “We realize that it would not be possible without those of you who have supported us along the way.”
