A west coast favorite is making its way to Forsyth County, though when and where it is going have not yet been revealed.
Vitality Bowls, a café restaurant chain based in northern California, recently announced a new location will be coming to Cumming that will specialize in acai bowls, a blend of acai berries and “a variety of superfoods,” such as bee pollen, mangosteen and graviola.
“The fresh ingredients and superfoods that Vitality Bowls offers are unlike any other fast-casual eatery options in the Cumming area,” said owner Joan Bell in a news release. “Vitality Bowls really embodies the high-quality health standards we raised our family on, and I want everyone in Cumming to experience that as well.”
Along with acai bowls, the café will offer fresh juices, smoothies, soups, paninis and salads.
Several trade publications have listed Vitality Bowls among the fastest growing franchises in the country, and more than 100 locations across the country have opened or are coming soon, including restaurants in Alpharetta, Midtown, Peachtree City and Dunwoody.
The local location will be the first in Forsyth County, though Bell has plans to open others in the area.
“Joan is exactly the right entrepreneur to grow the brand in Cumming,” said Tara Gilad, co-founder of Vitality Bowls, in the release. “She has outstanding business intellect, and we are eager to see Joan fill the demand for a healthy fast casual café in Cumming.”
