CUMMING — Belk in Lakeland Plaza will be holding its annual Kidfest from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The free event will feature games, an inflatable obstacle course, refreshments, an appearance from the Chick-fil-A cow and a fashion show.

For the show, kids can model an outfit for the crowd.

“We are still looking for anyone who might want to model,” said Kerri McKewen, Belk’s special events coordinator. “They do get a discount of 15 percent on the outfit that they’re modeling.”

Children also have the opportunity to continue their time in the spotlight by entering a modeling contest the company is holding to find new faces for its catalog.

“For any parents who want to bring in a picture of their child between the ages of 5 and 10, they can bring that in and drop off a submission during the Kidfest,” McKewen said.

Parents can bring the photo to the store’s kids’ department during the event to enter the contest.
