CUMMING — For anyone who wants to make it through that Christmas shopping list early, the 19th annual Christmas in Cumming Arts and Crafts Show offers a one-stop shop this weekend.

The family fun event features more than 100 arts and crafts vendors from across north Georgia selling exclusive handmade items at the Cumming Fairgrounds. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.

“It’s a great show,” said Peter Jezerinac, an event organizer with JRM Management Services. “We usually have about 5,000 folks come through in two days.”

Many of the vendors have participated for years, he said. Some come out just for this holiday sale.

Booths selling everything from Christmas wreaths and airplanes made out of aluminum foil to fudge “that’s to die for,” will set up next to the covered arena.

Local schools, including Kelly Mill and Vickery Creek elementary schools, will perform tonight and Saturday morning. Free photos with Santa are set for 6 to 9 tonight and noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jezerinac said.

Corn dogs and other fair food will be sold alongside hot chocolate and S’mores. Admission is $1.
